We have received feedback that while wanting to create a simple space, the visibility of handles and locks detracts from the design. To solve this problem, we have developed the L-587, a product that pursues "ultimate simplicity." By installing it embedded into the frame, we have achieved a design that hides the lock and has nothing attached to the door's surface. From the front of the door, only the handle insertion hole is visible. This makes it difficult to recognize it as an inspection door, which also makes the presence of the lock less noticeable, thereby reducing the risk of someone entering the door's interior or placing dangerous items inside. Additionally, it is equipped with an emergency unlocking function, allowing the door to be opened from the inside by pressing a button, thus preventing accidents where someone could be trapped inside. We have considered not only design but also safety. This product overturns the norm in the building materials industry where "having the handle visible is standard," achieving exceptional design by "hiding the handle."
